Do I need an iPod?
No, you can use your computer or any other MP3 player. Podcast receivers such as the FREE "iPodder" program are
platform-independent, so you can use them from virtually any computer and play the files on any MP3 device or from your PC's desktop. If you have an mp3 player, you can set up iPodder to put the audio files directly on your player.
What if I have an iPod?
Podcasting couldn't be easier if you have an iPod. Using Apple's "iTunes" software, you can subscribe to our Podcast and as long as your iPod is connected to your PC or when you do connect your iPod to your PC, iTunes will automatically copy the weekly sermons directly to your iPod! iTunes Instructions>>>
What you need to know...
There are basically 2 ways of subscribing to our Podcas. With any of the receiver programs (ie: iTunes, iPodder, etc...), you can issue a search for "Amarillo South" and once the Podcast is found, you can simply select it for subscription. That's all there is to it. Once you've subscribed, each week you will automatically receive the latest sermon downloaded directly to your computer and if you have you mp3 player or iPod connected, directly to it as well.
The other way to subscribe is by entering our Podcast URL into the subscription request form of your software. To do that, you'll need to know the url address of our Podcasting service to subscribe to. It is;
http://www.amarillosouth.org/sermons/AmarilloSouth.rss
You can simply copy and paste the above address from this page into your appropriate subscription software.
You can also find the Amarillo South Podcast on many of the free Podcast directory services. Some of these services are as follow;
